Make this template generic, because you will use it as a foundation letter that can be customized right before submitting it to each company For example, you might want to include information in the letter such as how long you have used their products or how you will be valuable to the company.
5. Keep your sponsors and fans updated by adding news. Let them know about your successes on and off the track. The key is to let your sponsors know that you are staying active and that you are a good candidate for next year’s sponsorship season.
4.) Search and Submit. Once your online profile and resume are complete, you can start searching for companies that you would like to ride for. Click “Send A Resume”, and the company will be added to your queue of resumes to be sent. Before you submit your resume you will be able to customize your cover letter. 5.) Get Sponsored. After submitting your resumes you can monitor them day or night 24/7 to see if they have been accepted. If you get sponsored you will get an email notification with information on how to proceed, but before you can contact the company or companies and start your sponsorship, you will be asked to pay the one time yearly activation fee ($50). After that, you will be put in direct contact with the companies who will inform you on how to obtain product discounts and how to communicate with them.
6.) Discounts and Relationships. Many companies will be using our online store to place orders. Once you have been sponsored, you will receive a unique discount code that will gain to the store. Orders placed will be shipped to your profile address—no exceptions. Some companies may prefer you to place orders via phone, email, fax, or some other method. Companies will let you know how to obtain your products. Now that you have landed your deals, you must prove to the companies that you are worthy of their sponsorship.
