I am a 22yr old girl, I have just spent the last year racing in California, I participated in the National Harescramble and won first place in the girls.
Racing in California and racing in Canada are two completcompletely different places to race in. It was a great experiance, I might be going back at the end of next year for another season.
I have worked hard all my life when it comes to competition, I have a personal trainer who trains me 3 days a week and then ride 4 days a week. I switch it up and some days I go to the track and others I do full on bush riding.
I am wanting to take things to the next level in my performance level and reach the top.
Seeing that I just got back from California, I am a little late in the racing season but that won't stop me.
I will be going to the last few CMRC races this year just to make sure I don't loose my competitive edge.
I am training 6 days a week, whether it is gym work outs or track time.
My competitive highlights:
2008 Picacho Creek- US Nationals Hare Scrambles- 1st place.
2006 CMRC Alberta Provincial XC, 3rd overall.
2004 National XC - 1st place.
2009 I will be hitting as many races as possible, trying to focus on all 3 series; XC, Harescrambles and MX.
