Now it's my collarbone - 4 weeks - Wow...

Wow, a lot has happened in the last few weeks.  My arm has gotten better and I think I grew 3 inches...all leg!  The Super Mini was kind of small before but now it's really small.  I have moved on the adult class.  Right now I have an '09 Husky WR125.

Raced the ECEA Hillside this weekend and ended up 2nd in class and 3rd overall in the morning 'C' race.  There was 67 bikes!

I think from this point on I'm going to be sticking to the 200 C class.

Playing Lacrosse...It will be at least 8 weeks til I'm allowed to race...

35 bikes on the front line, I pretty sure I was last off the line. Bike did not fire, it took 3 kicks! Anyway, off in a cloud of dust looking for riders to pass.  Came thru on the first lap in 14th, but by the end of the race I had worked my way back up to 7th place in class and 8th overall.  Lots of fast guys at this one in the sand.

Rained heavy on Saturday, real mud fest.  Had 16 bikes on the front line. Came thru the first lap in 4th, but 3rd, 4th and 5th were real close. Had a good ride going until I got a front flat. We changed out the front with a spare wheel we brought along and I was back on the track. Next time through I managed to stay in 9th after losing almost 7+ minutes in the pits.  In the last two laps in salvaged a 7th place finish in class and 13th overall.  On of these days it'll all come togather...Should have had a top five finish.

1 1/2 Hour race...8 laps. Had 13 on the front line. Got off the line in 3rd. Again I slide out in an easy corner and let a bunch by! Had moved back into 2nd by the end of the 1st lap. Closed on the leader a little in laps 2 and 3, but he pulled a little time on me on each of the remaining laps. Good ride, 2nd in class and 2nd overall. Had about 1 minute, 20 seconds over third. 

First local Hare Scramble of the season. Had 13 bikes on the front row. Very good field of competition including a local, and national, motocrosser who's dad owns and operates the track. Got the hole shot but a little ways into the track managed to slide out in a corner and let about 4 bike through.  Spent the next lap working my way back up to 2nd. Spent the rest of the race chasing the local motocrosser down. Ended up 2nd in class and 2nd overall by 53 seconds but had a 1:35 lead over 3rd.  Good day with lots of family and friends attending. Good to see everyone...

First race of the 2010 season. First race in the front row Super Mini 14-15 class. Had 24 riders on the front row, came off the line about 9th heading into the woods. Went down once on the first lap, not good! The race ended up being 8 laps. The 1st lap I was thru in 14th place and by lap 5 I had worked my way into 9th. Between 9th and 6th place was 4.6 seconds, close racing and lots of passing back and forth!  With the gas stop and my hands blistering up I just sort of maintained position and ended up 10th in class and 12th overall. I have to work on a better start, not going down, no gas stop, no blisters...that's a lot, but I know I can do better!

My first race on my new RM 105 Supermini. Came off the line 2nd worked my way into first and didn't look back. 1 1/2 hours later I finished 1st in Class and 1st Overall.  Bike worked great, felt good!

We got there early on Saturday and had a chance to walk the track. Looked fast...Got off the line 4th, came through the 1st lap in 2nd put the hammer down and pulled away for a 1st in class and 26th overall. My uncle and cousin came to watch from W Va. It was a good day to put it all together for a win.

Lots of rain on Friday and Saturday, made for a very slick red clay track.  Took my time on the start and 1st lap just to get a feel and not go down.  Came through the 1st lap in 4th and realized to track really wasn't that bad...Put on a charge and worked my way into 2nd in class and 17th overall.  It took 3 hours with the pressure washer to make things presentable again.

Just maintained position, not one of my best rides.

Wow, what a day! Just to be at Unadilla was great. Great track, great conditions. Came through the 1st lap in 5th and quickly worked my way into 2nd. Somehow, somewhere I got off track and managed to knock my carb out of the front boot. It came to rest back on the boot, but let a little extra air in...needless to say it ran great for one more lap until it melted the piston and quit. Of course I was at the farthest point away from the pits. It was a long walk back, but not because of the distance, just bummed, had a good ride going... 

Was 2nd off the line but made my way into the lead. A nasty root section got the best of me and people got by. Rode hard but ended up 3rd in class, 8th overall.

Got the holeshot, 1st into the woods.  Went down on some rocks and came out of the woods in 6th. Not good. Chased everyone down but slipped to 3rd in class, 6th overall.

Last round of the AMA East Coast Youth Series. Very hot, sandy and lots of rocks. I raced for 2 hours and 22 minutes; Hey, my 1st 2 hour race! The local riders had the rocks fiqured out, but I gave it my best shot. With 16 riders on the line, I came off 3rd, but faded to 6th, not my best effort. On a good note, I finished the AMA Youth Series 4th in class and only raced 3 out of the 5 races.

Saturday afternoon race. Good track, not real wet and not dusty. Was about fifth off the line and rode into 1st by the end of the first lap.  Crashed hard after hitting a stump, lets just say the bike was upside down on top of me.  Luckily it started right back up. Passed a lot of people on the next couple of laps but could only make it back to 3rd in class and 12th overall. Good time...

Pulled the hole shot, struggled on a tough hill ended up 3rd in class and 8th overall.  Tough track, lots of wet rocks. The race ended up being two 10 mile laps.

Good weather, fast track, bike worked great. Had 14 on our 3rd row line and 31 Superminis in the front two lines. Was 2nd off the line and in the lead by the end of the 1st lap. Rode through 22 superminis to 10 overall and 1st in class. 

Had 19 in my class.  Got the hole shot, 1/2 way through the first lap my throttle stuck. Cable pulled up out of carb. Got it fixed and tried my best. Just could not make up the time, finished 4th.

Had a great weekend. Really fast track. They had a staggered start and ran against the clock. Did Ok finished 5th.

New York rules, run by age group. Finished 5th in the Supermini Sr A Line and 9 overall out of 90 bikes. When seperated out, will result in a 1st place finish in 85cc, 12-15 for Pa. Series and District 6.

Really fast track. Got off the line decent. Finished 6th in class and 40th overall. 1st and 2nd in class went to local motocrossers.

Hot day, wasn't feeling that good.  Had 17 in the class. Craig Delong and I got off the line first. But I faded to 5th.

It rained a lot on Saturday, but by Sunday it was not too bad. Came through the 1st lap in 3rd and kept my head down and rode hard to overtake the rider in 2nd. Finish 2nd in class and 26th overall.

Great day to race. 1st real sand race, wasn't sure what to expect. The heat, sand and 1 1/2 hour race was tough. Finished 4th.

Rained for days.  1st real mud run, and I mean mud. Did ok. Go the gnccracing.com and check out the pictures. Finished 5th.

Pulled the holeshot, ran up front.  But a track problem let 2nd take a shortcut. Not really his fault, but it did cost me the win. Finished 2nd and took 4th overall.

Great day to race. Pulled the holeshot and rode hard for the class win.  Also finished 2nd Overall.

Had a water hole/carburetor problem, lost to much time. but it was fast and fun. Finished 6th.
