I had been off for quite some time with minor physical issues and while the bike was getting rebuilt.. but i made a serious come back for my first race of 2009 at the Marion County Fair.. Having been on the bike only 6 times prior to showing up to this race I decided today was the day to turn things around! The gate dropped and I led the 250B main from start to finish.. besting some of Ohios top B riders who had been riding and training all year for Loretta Qualifiers! I took Second out of the gate in Open B on my 250f, and was passing for the lead before I got slammed from behind and spun out.. I got up and fought hard but I was already a lap down after getting my bike going! Needless to say I am happy to be back in the swing of things and am looking forward to getting more B class wins under my belt!
