HISTORY Hi, My name is Beau Taynton, I am 15 years old. I love to ride! Right now all I want to do is ride...well and I love to hunt with my dad. My mom wants me to play other sports but all I can think about is riding. In the past I have played baseball for 7 years, Soccer for 5, football for 2 , and the last 2 years I have played basketball. Every day after school we try to go to our practice track and ride. The days we do not go ride we work out on our bowflex. My legs have healed from the breaks back in March of 08 and I have since then been racing all over. I started riding in November of 2006. My first race was in March of 2007 here in Deschutes County in the Expo center. The 2009 season was really fun and I have offically started my collection of trophies! I love to ride with friends, we can race and be serious out on the track but after the race no matter who won or lost we are still friends. It's nice to have the same level of competition, keeping it clean and fun. GOALS FOR THIS YEAR:
I got a new bike a month ago, it needs some work and a whole bunch of new parts. It's a Yamaha YZ250F. My first race on it will be at the indoor here in Redmond Oregon in March. I am also moving up in classes. I thought I had better move up and get a bigger bike. I tower over the 85 now. I would really like to race at Washougal this year! COMPETITIVE HIGHLIGHTS: I was in about 10 races in the 2009 season. I raced at Sandy (Mt. View MX), at the Deschutes Co Expo for the WHR indoor, and Madras Oregon. I placed anywhere from 1st to 3rd overall. I crashed pretty hard at the indoor but got back up and finished. That's racing! I found out that I won the 2009 high point series at Mt View MX in Sandy Oregon again this year!
