HISTORY I am a very happy sixth grader. I live in Montana City, Montana with my parents, 2 dogs and 3 cats. I attend the Montana City School and it is one of the toughest schools in our area. To get an "A" I have to have 94%. Needless to say, I work hard on and off the track. I started middle school this year so homework takes a lot longer than it used to.
I have also been learning to help with bike maintenance, and not just my bike. I help with tires, top ends, cleaning, filters and grips just to mention a few. I also have regular chores to do everyday.
On race weekends I know how important teamwork is. My Mom and Dad both ride too so we all help each other out in between motos and days of racing. It is a lot of hard work but fun too. There is nothing better than a long day of racing. My Dad races the 40 Pro class and my Mom races the Women's A class. She is also the President of our motocross association (High Country Motocross Association). She has been the President for the last two years. I am very well known in the state so my opinion and actions mean a lot. I am always on my best behavior.
GOALS FOR THIS YEAR:
Last year my goal was to advance to the 80B class in the Montana state racing circuit (HCMA). I accomplished that halfway through the summer, so now I am looking forward to 2009. I would like to continue to ride the Supermini class. I finished mid pack last year and it was great experience for me to compete with older riders for the holeshot. I will also rider the 80B class. It would be great to finish in the top 5. I am still really young for the 80B class but I don't let that stop me from trying to get faster every day.
Last year I had planned to go to Loretta Lynn's but I got hurt and the race was rescheduled due to rain. I guess it just wasn't ment to be. I will see if it will work out this year. We have been going to Washougal in the past too but we have been tossing the idea of a different national track around. You will have to check back and see what we decide.
