With the temp in the mid to high 30 it was hard to keep cool even in the shade. A good soak before lining up was ideal. With my first whole shot happening on moto one, the surprise of it nearly lost me the position, which did end up happening in the whoops. With luck of keeping it on two wheels did get me to the finish line in first, but know the second moto would be a much harder one to win. I was right, with the racings being cut shorter due to time and heat I was second from start to finish, but over all I ended in first place, which gives me a small 14 point lead in the series and two races to go. |
