HISTORY Well im a 21 year old college student, I am current seeking my Associates Degree in Welding Engineering Technology. Then I plan to transfer to a bigger college for my Bachelors degree is Business Professionalism in Welding. I am engaged to be married (long-term). My Fiance' is also a college student and a nurse. We don't drink, or have time for a lifestyle like that. I want to be serious and dedicated to this. Unfortunatly I still live in Michigan, I love it here, this is my stomping grounds. Now though, finding a good job to support my motocross dreams, one that will work around a college schedule is almost impossible to find.
So i ride Motocross with all my spare time, i've always been into riding, but my parents weren't the most supportive of anything let alone even show up to one of my football games, therefore I never really had a shot at racing when I was young. So now that im an adult I know that my chance of the big time is pretty much gone. That is not why i do it, or why im here. Im here to find help, I love riding/racing more than anything, and i promised myself this is something i got to do before its too late. GOALS FOR THIS YEAR:
My goals for this coming year would be to race my first complete AMA D-14 Season (22 races) and to place in the top 25 in points regardless of class. I've got a talented young team I ride with, and me more than anyone wants to excel in this! I certainly am dreaming of some support, considering making the switch to a 4-stroke will not be cheap! COMPETITIVE HIGHLIGHTS: Well i have been racing on and off for two year trying to get more involved and at the close of the 2008 season my best finishes were 9th/14, 8th/16. unfortunatly I raced 125b/c class and the race just is not competitive enough. There are twice to three times as many rider in the 250f class of the same skill level. Practice day is the most fun when I get to pass those guys on my 125. so next years plans are a bigger bike!
