HISTORY Originally from New-Brunswick, I moved to Calgary, AB in 2001. I was looking for opportunity and adventure. Back in NB I rode ATV's and Snowmobiles. I rode a little bit of trail bike but didn't really start to enjoy and discover the sport until a 2004. I started out on a TTR-125 which I loved but outgrew quickly as I found it did not have the power, speed or kick I was looking for. Then I got a KX250F which I love! That's when I caught the racing bug. Since I am fairly short I had to modify my seat and install a lowering link. After all was said and done, I started to practice as much as I could and get to the track as often as possible. I have started to ask advanced riders for tips and advice and started to work on techniques. I have to say, I'm in love with the sport! GOALS FOR THIS YEAR:
For the rest of 2008, I plan on working on my weak spots, get over some of my fears and work on dominating my racing class. I intend on working very hard and getting in better shape for the 2009 Spring Series. COMPETITIVE HIGHLIGHTS: As of Oct 4th 2008, I've only raced in the Fall Super Series 2008;
Round 1 - I finished 8th overall
Round 2 - I finished 3rd overall with moto 1 - 3rd place and moto 2 - 2nd place
Round 3 - I finished 3rd overall with moto 1 - 3rd place and moto 2 - 2nd place with both Holeshots!!
Round 4 - I finished 4th overall with moto 1 - 6th place and moto 2 - 3rd place
I got 3rd Overall in the Series and am very proud!!
I feel that is major improvement. I am going to keep working hard and condition my body for the 2009 Spring Series.
Check often for updates!!!
