August 27, 2007: VCHSS Blue Ridge II
Today was not my birthday but I did get a gift from the moto gods. We raced the 10th race of the year in the Virginia Champion Hair Scramble Series in Martinsville VA. After the parade lap I guess I punctured my rear tire. My pit crew didn’t let me know ether from guilt of not changing the tire before the weekend or to keep me from getting to worked up over it. Well after a great start I got a holes shot and was off in front. After 2 laps in first place the flat tire finally got me. I washed out and two riders went by me. My good friend Blake took over first place with a Cobra mounted rider hot on his tail. We stayed like that for one more lap and then I got my gift. Blake's bike once more let him down ,I think his twin brother Branded is helping dad work on it before the race, then the Cobra riders bike also broke so there I was on the last lap back in front. With only two races in the Pee Wee 1 class I have my first Win. I know Blake had me covered but I will take this one anyway. Keep your head up Blake your day is coming. |

July 16, 2007: Tune up for Vagas
We raced Virginia sports park Arenacross this weekend. I took the victory both nights in both motos in the 50cc B class. I didn't have the same results in the 65cc C class but I did do okay. I was able to finish 2 in the first moto on my KTM 50cc in the 65cc class Saturday but had a DNF in the second moto do to someone forgetting to turn my choke off. Well better luck next time and I think I will always check my own choke from now on. |

With two motos on Friday and two on Saturday I got some great practice in for Las Vegas. I won both motos on Friday night and backed it up on Saturday with two more wins. I cant wait to go back to this place |

February 12, 2007: Arenacross
Wheeling WV was fun but cold. We went to Ohio on Saturday and rode at the Ohio motocross arena. I had some fun at the Ohio track and got to race with a new friend name Nicholas also. Sundays race was great. In my heat race I got a great start and the hole shot. After leading for two laps and fighting it out I finally dropped back to third where I finished. The Main event was a exact copy of my heat race. Great start and hold them off for two laps but get past in the whops. I know what I need to do. Work on the whops and lead the last two laps not the first two. After this race I am now in first place in my class. |

January 21, 2007: GPX in NC
Just returned from the GPX race at North Carolina Motorsports Park. It was a 30 minuet moto that ran threw the MX track and the woods. It was fun but boy was it cold. I did well but the rest of the kids where on SR bikes so I hade to work hard. I am getting to ride a lot this winter so I can do well this summer.

January 16, 2007: Baltimore Arenacross
Two races down and three more to go. We just got back from the Baltimore Arenacross and it went good. This was a fun weekend as I had lots of friends and family come out to support me this weekend. It started a bit tuff as I got a little peer pressure from the big guy that works on my bike to do the double jump after the whoops. Well, I needed a ride home so I tried to do it in the first practice. The crowd went wild because I was the only 50cc Jr. rider to try it. I did land it, but got a little sideways after that and fell. In my heat race I ended up 4th so I transferred straight to the main event. Because I was fourth in my heat race, I had to start in the back row. The race went good, but once more I tried that double and did not stick it. After falling down and a second row start I fought my way to a 5th place finish! With that I am now tied with the 3rd place seeded guy at 32 points and only 8 points behind the 2nd place racer.

January 8, 2007: what a weekend
What a weekend. Just had my first race at Budds Creek Maryland. After the morning practice I wasn’t sure if this was going to be a good day or not. I stalled my bike every time I came down Henry hill, fell once in the mud and didn’t get any air over any jumps. Now its race time and I am lined up on the gate. They mixed the gate with senior and junior 50cc so it made it even more scary. Well the gate drops and I am in the top 5 overall at the first turn. After 5 quick laps I finish 3rd. Now its time for the second moto and its more of the same. With a 3/3 I finished the day in second place. Not bad for my first time at Budds. Just think now Ricky Carmichael and I have something to talk about. |
