HISTORY

My name is Ricky Chianelli and I have been racing Motocross for quite some time now. I am seventeen years old and live in Highland, NY, I started racing when I was about 12 or 13 on a Yamaha yz 85. I have now moved on to bigger and better things and am riding a 2008 KTM 250 sxf. I love it. My results so far on the big bike are getting better and better every time I ride and I am almost always within the top 3 to top 5 in my class. I am currently in the Novice class but will be moving up hopefully by the middle of the 2009 outdoor season. My current sponsors are: Rick McDowell my head coach at PRF Racing, Hill Top Cycle Shop, Wireless Zone, Madesign, and Get Real Racing. I train very hard throughout the week and am always ready for my race on sunday.

GOALS FOR THIS YEAR:

I have many goals for the upcoming season(s). I will be racing indoor over the winter at an indoor supercross track that I live pretty close to called Mototown USA. I hope to get top 3 in all of my classes there which I should be able to because i will be practicing there very often. My most important goals are not untill the 2009 outdoor season. I plan to finish a few races in the novice class getting top 3 in all of them. I also plan on going to all of the Loretta Lynn area qualifiers and hopefully qualifing to go to Loretta's in 09. I will also be competeing in all of the MSC Motocross races, and all of the District 34 Races.

COMPETITIVE HIGHLIGHTS:

I have been racing for a while now and I am very comfortable on the track. I always use my ability to make smart decisions on the track and try to keep myself out of dangerous situatios. I would definetly consider myself a very smooth rider and I am always at the top of my class. I do not always have the best of luck but no matter my situation I always try my hardest. I am known to pull very good starts.
