PRIVATEER SHUTTLE RIDER JAMES MARSHALL INJURED!---REMAINS IN THE ICU!

MXsponsor.com / Privateer Shuttle Rider James Marshall has suffered a tremendous accident that has hospitalized James in the ICU. It happened in the first heat of San Diego's supercross race. James was running 4th in the Heat before going over the bars and getting hit by 2 following riders. The track was red-flagged and James was rushed the hospital.

We want to extend our prayers to James, his family and his mechanic Dave during this time. Truly a tragic event for such a talented rider and a great person. We will post more information on James' condition as more information becomes available.

Anaheim 3 was a thirller with a string a bad luck hitting the Privateer Shuttle riders. Chris Welsh went down hard in practice and appears that he may need to have surgury on his wrist. Willy Browning was out in his second practive after posting some of the fastest lap times when he was landed on by another rider. The force of the impact broke the cases of Willy's brand new RM450F. James went over the bars at the end of practice and suffered a dislocated shoulder injury. James went back to the pits after a visit from Asterisk guys and jumped back into qualifying with one minute to spare. James got a 3rd in qualifying to make it to the evening program. James led a thrilling race in Semi #1 as he was in second place out of the first turn and was running 4th place for most of the race. He narrowly got passed during a crash between lappers and was in 6th place. He couldnt make up the extra spot, and had to go to the LCQ. James got a bad start and got 5th place in the LCQ, not enough for the main.

Rain, rain rain. In terrible conditions, James, TY, and Willy Browning made the evening program but suffered through the terrible conditions.

MXSponsor.com's James Marshall Posts 3rd in LCQ Gets RacerX Gas Card

Privateer Shuttle / MXsponsor.com rider James Marshall pulls 2nd in the LCQ of Anaheim 2 right behind Jeff Dement after a gnarly first corner pile up. James ran second place for 4 laps before getting passed by LCQ winner Jeff Gibson. Marshall was the winner of the $750 RacerX gas card and was interviewed on the podium in front of 45,000 fans.

In Heat #1, James finished 12th bewhind Ryan Clark, Keith Johnson, Justin Buckelew, and Tim Ferry. Right behind James was Isaiah Johnson who was looking fast all day with the top practicing times in his group.
A2 was a difficult track (especially the first turn) for the entire race pack as some of the top factory guys missed the main event including Tim Ferry, Kyle Lewis, and Keith Johnson. Congrats James!

A1 was a blast. We had 3 of our 4 guys make it to the evening program. First turn pile-ups, gnarly whoops and mechanical luck prevented our guys from making the main. #452 James Marshall (above pic) got the holeshot in Heat 2 and lead the pack in front of 40,000 screaming fans. He was passed by Mike Larocco on Lap 2 right after mechanical issues forced James to pull off. Still a blast. Check out our race report for the weekend here.
