RIDE ENGINEERING redesigns Honda Triple Clamps for 2017-20 CRF450R to improve compliance and comfort

These new split CRF Triple Clamps have been completely updated for added flex and comfort, with a larger profile top clamp (for better handling & less vibration) and revised bar positions (5mm lower and 3mm forward) for more comfort and control. Made from 2024AL (same alloy used by Factory Teams), this strong, elastic material keeps them compliant with the suspension and chassis. They are available in two different offsets, 21mm (CRF250R), and 22mm (CRF450R). Different offsets are offered to provide the rider the option for stock handling or customized handling by putting more or less weight on the front wheel. Furthermore our triple clamps incorporate rubber mounting by using the stock rubber cones, or by using  the Ride Engineering hard (red) or soft (yellow) Polyurethane Cones to help tune the amount of feedback that comes from the handlebars. Add the One Piece Anti-twist Bar Mount to keep the bars straight in the event of a minor crash. Triple Clamps save 3-8oz depending on the year, bar mounts weigh the same as stock.
Application: 2013-2020 CRF450R; 2017-2020 CRF450RX; 2014-2021 CRF250R;
2018-2021 CRF250RX

The Ride Eng. Split clamps have been designed with four goals in mind: 1) Optimize body position: Bar position 3mm back from stock. Ride Eng. also offers optional offset bases for our bar mounts providing 4 bar positions as measured from the stem hole: 6mm forward, 9mm forward, 15mm forward & 18mm forward (using stock bar mounts your positions are either 7mm or 17mm forward); 2) Flex: this new split design made from 2024 aluminum provides far better comfort and uncompromised suspension action (improved over the triple clamps that come on the 2019.5+ Factory Edition); 3) Improve the handling with a new gull wing design; 4) Place the upper pinch bolts in the front which also improves flex and allows for different aftermarket handguard mounts. Each set comes with a frame mounted hour meter relocation bracket. Recommended for motocross, supercross and trails/desert riding or racing. Available in two offsets (22mm and 20.5mm) and five colors and redesigned with a 90mm span to accept the stock bar mounts and mounting hardware.

Keefer was able to compare the stock KTM black billet clamps with the WP factory clamps and these new Ride Eng. Split triple clamps. “The Ride Eng. clamp allows the front end to absorb more of what the track is offering the rider. I felt like I could get into the corner much easier.”-Kris Keefer,
