Rider Updates

Mar 4 2019

Well, the 2019 season is almost here. I just picked up a MINT 2004 Suzuki RM 250. I love the two strokes, and this bike only has a few hours on it... i couldnt pass it up.

This year I am going to do things a bit different. I may not compete in full series', but i will be doing a mix of:

Masters of MX Series, +30B

D13 MX, +25 Amateur B/C

D13 VCHSS Hare Scramble Series, +30B

This will be my first year racing harescrames since i was 12, so it should be fun!

Jan 2 2019

Happy New Year, everyone! After winning some races, the D13 and State Championships in 2017, I took ALL of 2018 off. In 2018 my wife and I both made carrer changes, sold a house, and are almost finished building our new home. To top it off, I tore my lateral meniscus! I am healed up, have been training, and can't wait to have some fun in 2019 - my first year in +30B.

Dec 5 2017

Well, that's a wrap, the 2017 season is over. At the final race, I went 3-3 for 3rd overall at ECMX. I raced 15+ times and ended the season with the following notable achievements:

2017 Virginia State Champion +25 B/C

2017 AMA District 13 Season Champion +25 B/C

2017 AMA District 29 Season First Runner Up +25 B/C

2017 North East Grand National Championship First Runner Up +25 B/C

Nov 14 2017

Over the weekend I raced twice. Saturday night was the AMA D29 NCMP Supercross race. I went 2-2 in +25B/C, for 2nd overall. Sunday was a combined AMA D29/ D13 MX race at NCMP. Again, I went 2-2 for 2nd overall. I have moved closer and closer to the points championship, and have a shot to win the series with one round left on 12/3 at ECMX.

Nov 6 2017

This past weekend I raced at Elizabeth City Motocross, in North Carolina. First moto was an awesome battle between 2-4... I went into the last corner in 4th, came out in 2nd. Second moto was a quiet ride for 2nd, which gave me a 2nd overall on the day.

Oct 30 2017

2017 Virginia State Champion +25 B/C !!

This weekend was great. After a bad race at Birch Creek and ECMX I decided that I will not look at the points for the rest of the year... I will simply win every moto and see where I stand.

This past weekend I went 1-1-1-1, so I am making good on that goal so far!

Oct 2 2017

Had a so-so weekend at Birch Creek for their D13/ D29 Fall Classic.

Saturday I went 3-2, for 3rd overall in +25B/C... I was leading the second moto until the last corner. My 3-1 would have been the overall, so that was disappointing.

Sunday I went 5-8, for 8th overall. The first moto went well, as I battled pretty hard for 4th the whole time, but fell short. The second moto I stalled on the gate and worked to 8th.

Overall I made it home happy and healthy, and will work on improving my endurance and aggressiveness for Budds Creek in three weeks.

Sep 18 2017

I had a tough weekend at Elizabeth City, but had fun and came home in one piece. First moto I found myself on the ground at the start. I worked from 21st to 9th, and was pretty happy with that. The second moto I battled for 5th the whole race, and just missed out and ended up 6th.

Sep 13 2017

The AMA D13 points have been updated, and I am now down 38 points, in second place, with seven races left this year!

Sep 11 2017

Picked up a new RMZ 250 which I will finish out the season on! I will no longer be able to race the Two Stroke class, so I will likely race +25 B/C and either the normal +25 class, or 250B.

Aug 31 2017

This past weekend I went 1-2 for 2nd overall in +25B/C. Going into this race I was 2nd in points, about 54 down from the leader, so the gap should be closer. There are seven more races this year, so winning the series championship is my ultimate goal!

Apr 5 2017

As of today, after 4 rounds, I am leading series points in the +25 B/C class, by 6 points. We will be heading to Lake Sugar Tree this weekend to hopefully extend the gap!

Mar 11 2017

I will be competing this year in the +25 B/C class for AMA D13. So far, after three rounds (I missed the first one), I am second in season points with a 3rd and a 2nd.

Sep 9 2014

My wife and I rode a lot this year. I feel better on a bike than I have, in a very long time. We did not get to race as much as planned, but that's okay, theres always 2015. Unfortunately, in August of this year I tore my Labrum in my left shoulder. I will be having shoulder surgery in October, but will come back strong in 2015.

Nov 20 2013

After 6 months off the bike, and coming back on a new, different bike, i feel great. Switching from the CRF to an RMZ 450 has been a great switch in my opinion. The bike feels very predictable and suits my riding style well. I'll be practicing again this weekend at South Fork MX in Virginia... after this weekend i will get back into racing the D-13 winter series to get my speed up for 2014.

Nov 11 2013

Well i've had to take a few months off of riding... I was getting ready for my wedding, and had a lot of stuff going on, but now it's time to get back on it and get ready for 2014! Me and my wife went to South Fork MX yesterday, and I put in about 40 laps... feelin good for how long its been. On a new bike now too, a RMZ 450.

Sep 20 2013

On the hunt for a 2006+ Yz 125 - I will be eligible to race +25 next year, so i'm looking to have a little fun and build a 144 to shread on!

Aug 12 2013

I will be racing Elizebeth City MX this weekend in North Carolina. Me and my fiance are going to try and hit as many of the AMA D-13 Grand Championship Series races as possible, and this is the first one. I will be racing 450B and Collegeboy.

I'd like to thank my sponsors who are not listed on this website.   John Curea, owner of East Coast Suspension in Enon Valley, PA.. Thanks! He has my bike working amazing, and can't thank him enough. Also want to give a shout out to EPIK Motocross Graphics.

I graduated college in the Spring of 2012. At that time i had to hang up the boots for a little while until life got put back in order. I had an internship in Ohio, and then landed a great job in Virginia. I made the move down here and have been riding and training a ton this year.

Racing has been tough due to a lot of constrictions. I'm getting married this fall, and have been in 2 weddings this summer. I have focused mostly on practicing, and the Masters of MX series. I will continue to ride and train throughout the winter (man its nice being this close to NC, i practically dont have to quit riding in the winter!), and will hit it hard in the spring of 2014.
