Personal History
I am an avid offroad racer competing in JDay Sprint Enduro and other woods racing events throughout New England. I also serve as Vice President of the Montshire Trail Riders, a VT/NH based NETRA affiliate club. The Montshire Trail Riders maintain dozens of properties and hundreds of miles of singletrack each year and host the NETRA Ammonoosuc Turkey Run, one of NETRA's premier 2-day dual sport events.
I have been a lifelong trail rider and racer, and am passionate about life on two wheels. I enjoy meeting new people through riding and racing and the personal challenge and skills gained through training, bike preparation and tuning, and developing speed as a racer. Granite Roost Racing is our family race effort, composed of myself, wife Erin, and daughters Acadia (age 7) and Azalea (age 18 months). In addition to offroad racing our family enjoys mountain biking, personal fitness, and cross-country skiing.
