Personal History
My name is Alex House im 22 and live in Rocklin, California. Im a construction worker and racer. I race off road mostly but do the occasional MX race I have been riding dirtbikes since I was 12 years old and have never looked back as soon as I got my first bike a 84 Suzuki RM250. After 2 years of riding local tracks and trails I decided it was time to race I had upgraded my bike to a 1989 YZ250 and was ready to try the 80 mile fools gold enduro in Georgetown CA. I just about killed myself but finished 11th of 20 riders and got a bronze medal. After that I was hooked and started racing cross country and motocross on a monthly basis to this day unless my wallet prevents me. Over the last year due to the slow ecomony construction has been hit very hard and so have I due to this I have been laid off several times this year preventing me from racing so any help from sponsors would be a big plus.
Riding Goals
This Year I finally got bumped to the B class which was a big goal in itself I had trained hard all year with my friend and fellow racer Jake Raine which pushed me to a higher level of fitness and speed. I plan on doing the rest of the 2008 district 36 cross country series and hopefully breaking into the top five in the class then going for a win in the B class
Competitive Highlights
the 2008 season has been a highlight alltogether I have had a battles every race so far for that one extra postion and its only going to get better. As for one race that stands out was the 2007 Lilliputian Hare Scramble I ran in the front of the pack and by the end of the first lap I was in 1st place but due to a rider entering in the wrong class causing a transponder problem I was actually in 2nd but for the whole race I was able to keep the speed up to prevent anyone from passing me for the postion I was in.
