Personal History
Hi my name is Alex and im 24 years old. I come from a little New Zealand town called Taumarunui. I ride a Yamaha YFM Raptor 125 quad bike. I have been riding quad bikes for the past 12 years and only started racing competitively this year. I am a little person aka dwarf, which puzzles people as to how i can ride a bike with changing gears, braking and jumping.
Riding Goals
My riding goals are simple. I would like to make it known that little people can ride a dirt bike and mix it up with the big guys (no pun intended)
Also i want to gain experience racing, and learn racing techniques.
Competitive Highlights
The biggest highlight for me this year is competing at the New Zealand Mini TT champs in July. I entered in the Support ATV/Ladies class where i came 12th overall out of 15 riders at the end of the two day event.All the other bikes were 450cc. This was my first real racing experience outside my local mx club and loved it. Im definately entering in it again next year.
