Rider Updates
Last season was my first season racing quads. I think this sport is fantastic and extremely addictive. My first race of the season was at Donemana MX track in Northern Ireland and I was extremely nervous sitting on the line having never raced before. Thankfully I got off the line with few problems and completed the first race coming in at the back of the pack.I was happy enough with this result as it was my first race. The second race of the day went even better and I gained a 6th place and got some prize money.Throughout the season unfortunatley due to a car crash I only completed 4 out of the 6 rounds in the Ulster MX2 and Quad championship. Recently I have been in the gym improving my fitness in preparation for next season.Towards the end of the season my positions had moved from the back of the pack and up into top 10 in the grade C class.Halfway through the season I got an oppertunity to invest some money into making a practice track and I took it. The extra practice paid off huge divid ends and because of this I am hoping to win the Ulster Quad grade C championship next season.Currently I have my quad stripped down and am in the process of rebuilding my Suzuki LT-R450 to improve its strength and rider comfort. This is going to take more money than I originally thought and I hope I can get it done and go on to win the Quad grade C championship next year. After finishing my degree at Jordanstown University in Northern Ireland last year I have little money and some Sponsorship would really help :)Thanks Andrew
