Personal History
I am a 17 year old Senior at Harrisonburg High School in Harrisonburg, Va. Motocrossing is my passion and something I have dreamed of doing since I was little...I am so grateful to be fulfilling my dreams...one step at a time.
I have had a fantastic year so far. I was lucky enough to work with a pro rider for a week...completely changed the way I ride! I try not to doubt my ability and keep pushing myself to improve with every race.
When I'm not on the track I like to be with my friends...generally riding at one of the local tracks. I also volunteer my time with a group called Streaks Serve the Burg. This is a group of high school athletes from HHS that perform community service within our area and as far away as Mississippi..I enjoy giving back to my community while educating others on motocross and other extreme sports.
I look forward to what the remainder of this season has to offer and am anxiously awaiting the 2012-13 season.
Other than that....see you on the track!
Riding Goals
My goals are to just keep improving. After a crash that resulted in being airlifted and a lot of healing time, I've come back stronger than I was before and I plan on graduating early and staying at a Motocross camp for a month or so to get better and learn more.
Next year's season I have the goal to hit as many AMA tracks as I can. I feel that exposing myself to as many different locations as possible will improve my ability to adapt and become faster. I want to ready myself to qualify for the Loretta Lynns in 2013 and then move to the B class.
Competitive Highlights
My first race back following my accident was a Loretta Qualifier at ECMX and I was able to get a holeshot and finish in the top 18 which felt great considering what I had just come through.
