Personal History

Desert Racing in Yuma, during my younger years, is where the birth of my acquired passion for Motocross/Off-Road racing began.  After moving to California, I road recreationally for 9 years while I searched for a career I would be passionate about.  After obtaining my Electricians license, I joined District 36 and began competing in AMA National Hare Scramble Events.  With just a few events on the agenda for my racing schedule in 2007 and 2008, I gained the experience and drive to set a long-term goal to fine tune my riding ability, develop the experience to work my way through the ranks to become an "A" rider and earn my black number plate.

The 2009 District 36 Hare Scramble Spring and Fall Series was a very competitive season.  My top goal was to become a "B" rider before entering the 2010 season.  In finishing a close 2nd in both seasons in the "C" 30+ Vet point standings, consistent top 5 finishes enabled me to accomplish my goal and enter the "B" class for the 2011 season.

The 2011 District 36 Hare Scramble Spring Series maintained a competitive field.  My top goal was to become an "A" rider before completing the 2011 season.  In the "B" 30+ Vet point standings, consistent top 3 finishes throughout the scheduled series of events, with several 3rd place finishes, a few seconds and a win, confirmed that a lot of heart, consistency and hard work were the winning combination. The last race in Shasta was a challenging course, but perserverance paid off as I took over the points lead and I completed the season as the 2011 District 36 Hare Scramble Spring Series Champion.

The off season brings no break as I will continue to train harder than ever to prepare to continue being a competitive rider in the "A" class.  I look forward to continue improving my riding skill level and competing in the next higher level of riders as I prepare for the 2012 District 36 Hare Scramble season entering with an overall ranking of 27th.

Allow me the opportunity through a sponsorship this 2011-2012 season and I will be a great promoter marketing your products while continuing the pursuit of my riding goals.  I am seeking sponsorships for the 2011-2012 seasons to keep my riding/safety equipment and self in top notch shape to continue pursuing my championship goals at the expert level.
