Personal History
I am 9 years old and in the 4th grade, where I work very hard to maintain straight A's. I love to ride and race my dirt bike! Unfortunately, living in Lubbock, Texas, there aren't that many opportunities to race and even fewer places to practice on a regular basis, but I do my best and my parents are really cool and take me to as many "big" races and tracks as possible. We have been traveling alot lately! This is the first year I have not been on my 50cc. It was a hard change for me, but I have found I love racing my 65cc even more! I have some work to do to catch up with the good riders that are my age, but I am practicing as much as possible and hopefully my hard work is going to pay off!
I also love to hang out with my friends and family! Anytime my friends and I are together, we ride scooters or bikes, whether it is in between motos or at home in the driveway. We also love just running around playing tag, jumping on the trampoline or playing the xbox. I just like to be on the move!
Riding Goals
My goals are to continue to ride as much as possible and continue to get better. I would like to be able to have more opportunities to race at better tracks and against better riders, and continue to gain more experience. I just recently had my first Top 10 and then Top 5 finish at some of the Texas Winter Series races, and I plan on that becoming a regular occurrence for me! I will finish out the Texas Winter Series and then there are a couple of "local" series in my area I plan on racing in. I will also attend a few LLAQ races in the next couple of months and hopefully I will qualify for Regionals! Maybe I can even qualify for Loretta's if I improve enough between now and Regionals in June!
Competitive Highlights
I just completed my first full year of competitive MX racing. I qualified in my district for the Texas State Finals in two 50cc classes (50cc 7-8, 50cc 4-8) and two 65cc classes (65cc 7-9, 65cc 7-11). I also raced my last 50cc race at Mini O's in Florida, which was my first real "National" and it was so much fun! (I attended the James Stewart Championship last Spring, but did not understand that it was a National and I was not prepared for that race!) I will attend again this year and plan on being much more competitive!!! I also plan on attending the GNC Final at Oak Hill the week before the James Stewart Championship. I am currently finishing out the Texas Winter Series, where I have made every race, and have had my first Top 5 finish against some of the best riders in Texas as well as two Top 10 finishes.
