I am super excited that I was fortunate enough to train with Sara Price at Starwest MX in Perris Ca. She worked with me on several things and took approximately 5 seconds off my lap time. I can't wait to train with her again and learn even more from such an amazing person.

I finished with a 3rd place overall finish in my 50cc 2 stroke starter class. This was a tough class with some pretty tough competition in it. Every race was a challenge for a podium finish. I am excited to come back next season and take home the 1st place championship!!!

I am excited to say that I have won 1st place in Moto-X-kidz summer series in my Fast 50cc thru 12 class. It was a total of ten races Starting on June 11th 2011 and ending on October 22nd 2011. Through out the series I had a couple of tough races and had some bad luck, but I never gave up. I was 5 yrs old up until August when I turned 6, competing with kids up to 12 years old. Sometimes they were able to put me in the dust and off the podium, but I worked hard to win this class and can't wait to do it again!!

I started a new series at AVMotoplex mx track in Lancaster California this past Sunday. It was a new track that I have never been to before. It was quite a bit bigger then I am used to, but I eneded up loving it. It gave me a chance to really get on the throttle and open up my bike on the straight aways. My mom and I are a team when I race and she is also learning to be my mechanic. Unfortunately, she needs to learn to tighten the axle bolts when she changes my rear tire out (I lost one on the last lap of my first moto and my chain fell off). She was able to run around the whole track and find a spare right before my next moto, but another hard lesson was learned when she didnt finish re-tightening the chain and it fell off AGAIN in the beginning of my second moto. I can't be too hard on her, over all she did great. My bike is set up with a smaller front sprocket for the shorter track I usually race, but my mom swithced to a bigger front sprocket in the pouring rain so that I could get some speed out of my bike. That made a big difference in my speed. After it was all said and done, and two "DNF's", I ended up with an overall 5th and 6th place out of 12-13 kids.
We are both learning the hard way with good and bad lessons, and as my mom always says... "You have to learn how to lose just as good as you can win because nobody likes a sore loser"

We headed out to Milestone MX track in Riverside Ca today. The day started out pouring rain and we wondered if we would even ride. It stayed rainy and humid most of the day but it made for good track conditions. A lot of my friends were there and we hung out and raced around all the different tracks. I got some good seat time in and hung with my friends. Pretty much it was a good day!!

So my mom decided that I needed to learn to crash good, so she enrolled me in a tumbling and gymnastics class. I will be focusing on body control, and strengthing my muscles in the right places to be a better, stronger, safer, and faster dirtbike rider. So far, I LOVE the class. I am learning body positioning, rolls, and backflips. I am stoked to learn more every week!!!

After the track, I went to my tumbling class, where we worked on body control and flips. It was a GRRREAT DAY!!! Im racing on Saturday with Motoxkidz at Starwest in Perris California and I am super excited!!!

Today was our last day of camp and we went to Perris Raceway. It was exciting to learn a new track. We practiced on the Vet track. We started off the day with our strectching and refreshing our minds with all the new stuff we learned. We warmed up our bikes and headed out to the track. We did our drills and took a little time to learn the new track. Then we had sevral competitions. They were all so fun and I think we were all winners. Everybody learned so much and had already improved their lap times. I am excited to have had the opportunity to learn so many new techniques that I can now apply to my racing. We learned about nutrition, staying hydrated, stretching and that our bodies are like our dirtbikes. We need to strectch, eat food and drink water to run, just like our dirt bikes need gas, oil and to be warmed up properly to run. I would like to thank Haven Sports Management and Bruce Marada for the awesome camp and great coaching they provided. It was so much fun and I can't wait for next year to go back.
I also would like to thank my mom for working hard at camp with me everyday to help me learn new things about racing.
I plan to start training with Haven Sports Management in August 2011 and am excited to learn even more!!!!

Today we learned the differnece between "dirt starts" and "cement starts". We learned the correct positioning of our body. arms and legs. We practiced looking ahead of ourselves and focusing on the hole shot.
We also learned about the correct body position for taking jumps, cornering and setting ourselves up for whatever is around the corner. We focused hard on always looking ahead so that we are ready for anything. We had a competition to see who could weave through the cones without touching them or putting their foot down. We all had a lot of fun cheering each other on.
We had a few 5 lap practice races after we completed all of our drills so we could apply what we learned to the track. Today was a super fun day and I am very excited for my last dat at camp.

Today was my first day of camp with Haven Sports Management. We started a three day training with coach Mike Sleeter and Bruce Marada to learn the skills we need to be safer and faster. We concentrated on correct positioning on the bike, correct front and back braking techniques while starting and stopping, and correct leg positions. After camp, we went back to the hotel and went swimming and had dinner. We went to bed early so we could be well rested for the next day. I had a lot of fun and am very excited for the next couple days!!!

I practiced at Starwest to day and it was REALLY HOT!!! My cousin Linken came and rode his Yamaha and my friend Dillon came and rode his Honda CRF50. Dillons dad rode his 110cc and practiced with us. He likes to make us chase him because it makes us ride faster or he rides really close behind us and pushes us. My mom will upload some pictures of riding today. My mom re-did my clutch in my KTM to be a little more aggressive off the line and I really liked the way it rode. I am really getting good on this turn I crash on sometimes. I cant wait for my race on Saturday...Im ready to rock!!!! Check back for my race results!!!!!
