Personal History

My name is Bryan Bachman and I am 24 years old. I grew up right outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I received a 4 year college degree in Business from Robert Morris University. I enjoy being outdoors whether it is fishing, camping, or riding my mountain bike but motocross is my true passion. With a family that has been heavily involved in the sport of motocross since the 1970's, it was only a matter of time that I would join the tradition of being a motocross racer. It all started when I was 4 years old on a Honda Z50. After learning to ride, I began racing local events a few times a month. I was never pushed into racing and my father wanted me to decide on my own what I wanted to do. After playing just about every sport there was to play, I could not find anything more fun and challenging than motocross. When I turned 14 years old we started taking racing more seriously. I was riding a CR80 at the time and my father and I began traveling all over every weekend. I began doing good and moved on to the bigger bikes. I continued to produce good results consistently every weekend and each year I got moved up by the AMA to where I am now which is in the A class.

Riding Goals

My goals for 2014 and into 2015 would be to obtain my AMA Pro License. That is my main focus moving forward with my racing career. I had a few set backs the past few years with injury but I feel confident that next season I will be qualifying for nationals. Some other goals that I have set for myself are getting Top 3 in points in the PAMX State Championship series and also making to atleast 4 of the Arenacross races over the winter. I want to continue to improve my  fitness and get a trainer over the winter so I will be fully prepared for 2015.
