Personal History
I live in Cottam, Ontario with my parents and our mini longhaired daschund, Storm. I enjoy riding my dirt bike as much as I can and race in both Ontario and Michigan.
I enjoy most sports, including soccer, cross country and have been an ice hockey goalie since the age of 6. I also play chess, darts and spend some of my time sketching.
I also run my own initiative, called Sock-tober, which runs annually in October. I collect new pairs of socks from within my network and community to donate them to local nonprofits. In 5 years, I have collected over 5,000 pairs of socks!
Riding Goals
I love riding because it is a sport that keeps you honest with yourself. It lets you define goals, push your limits and stay focused on your progress. It demands hard work and self-confidence. It allows for competitive spirit with a great dose of making friends and working with teammates.
This year is a year to focus on myself. I'm working on my self-confidence in general as its been a struggle in previous seasons. I'm working on confident starts, finding my positioning with the bike, consistent lap times and stronger cornering.
For next year, I hope to keep expanding on my progress. I'd like to see me challenging my lap times, seeing confidence & consistentcy throughout motos by seeing my race results improve.
I'm also planning on qualifying for our Canadian National race (Walton TransCan) in 2024.
Competitive Highlights
Accomplishments in my season so far, as my season is not over yet.
2023 D14 Michigan: (10 races so far)
- Mini Open 9-15: 2 podiums, 4 Top-10 finishes.
- 85C 9-15: 3 podiums with 1 overall win, 9 Top-10 finishes.
2023 AMO Ontario: (5 races so far)
I have struggled in these races with confidence and have been using the results as motivation to work & improve
- Supermini 9-16: latest 2 races with 25th/26th finishes (started season with 30th/39th finish)
- 85cc 12-16: latest 2 races with 11th/14th finishes (started season with 23rd/27th finish)
Other:
- Raced MotoCup event in May 2023: Finished 9th in 85cc 12-16 and 11th in Supermini.
- Finish D14 and AMO series races in September/October 2023.
- Racing Baja Monster Mash in October 2023.
- Racing Mini Os in November 2023.
