Personal History
When I was 12 my dad started dirt biking with all his buddies, and eventually my brother started riding too. I had attempted to ride a little 50 but I wasn't ballsy enough. My dad bought an 85 that I could ride when I was 14, but I was still scared of riding. He had gotten my mom a 150, which is what I rode when I was no longer afraid. The summer I was 16 I grew a pair and started riding and grew to love it. I convinced my dad to get me a bigger bike that would fit me better and give me the power I wanted. Now I ride a KTM 250 xc and I love it. My family owns some property with a motocross track on it, which I ride on occasionally. Usually you can find me out on the trails rippin' it up, for I get more of a thrill out of trials than motocross.
In my free time when I am not riding I go to school or work. I try to ride at least twice a week, which is the highlights of my weeks. Since I do live in Montana it is hard to dirt bike year round, so when winter hits I turn to the slopes and shred the gnar. I snowboard often and am getting into snowmobiling and timber sledding with my folks. When spring comes around all I look forward to is dirt biking, and I'm just waiting for the snow to melt so I can get out again!
Riding Goals
Being that I got into riding last summer, I have accomplished a ton! Being able to ride with people that push me to do new things help, but I still thrive to ride more aggressive. The more time I get under my belt I will be advancing my skills in any way possible. I always tell myself to do something new every time I ride, and if I can't get it the first time I try till I get it accomplished. One of my main goals is to start enduro races this year, its just a matter of time and what not. I also would love to attempt some local motocross races, for we have a series which happen to be in a close radius to where I live.
