Personal History

My name is charles Grant Vigilia.  I am currently 14 years old and I've been riding since I was 8 years old.  I started out with just a 43cc mini bike going back and fourth from my driveway to my backyard.  Soon I realized that it was time for me to get on a dirtbike.  My first dirtbike was a Suzuki DR-Z110 which I still have.  I learned the basics of riding on some rough trails but I addapted to riding a dirtbike within a day.  I rode the 110 for about 2 years adding a couple of mods to it every now and then.  As soon as I learned how to use the clutch, I made a tremendous change in bike. At age 11  I moved from a 110 to practicing for about a week to ride my dads 150f to a fullsized suzuki RM125.  I was a little short for it but that wasn't going to stop me from riding it because by then I finally realized that I had the ability to do just as good as the pros as long as I set my mind to it. Thats when I decided to start taking motocross serious and am considering it as a career if all goes well.  Now  I am working my way up each week by riding hard.  My motto is if you're gonna bring your bike to the track to sit and relax in the pits, you may as well be at home sleeping.

Riding Goals

My goals for this year are:

Races: Score in the top three of the "Lucky 7 Race Series" and hopefully pick up some sponsors on the way.  Participate in most (if not all) of my local races.  Race Loretta's and World Mini in 2009 probably the 125 School Boy and the Super Mini class.

Train: Be at my local tracks for practices as much a possible and ride for at least 5 hours (Not counting Lunch, Refueling, and track maintainence).  Improve my lap times by at least 10 seconds by the end of summer.

Prepare: Get ready For Loretta's and World Mini for 2009.(save up money for fuel, gear, and parts)  Find out what it takes to win and apply my knowledge to practices.

Extra: Hopefully I can buy a new bike by the  end of summer if money isnt an issue.  Probably a    Honda CRF150R or any 250F(preferably a Suzuki).
