Personal History
I am 22yrs old, I currently work Midnights full-time at a casino. I ride every chance I get, wether it be on my street bike or my dirt bike. I first started out riding on a Honda Z50 at 8yrs old, then started racing Champ Karts (Go Karts w/Roll Cage) at 12. 2005 was my best season, I had 4 feature wins and 2nd in Season points at Lake Village Motor Speedway which is a 1/5mi dirt oval. I then started racing stock cars in 2007 at Illiana Motor Speedway, I ended up with 1 feature win that year and ended up 16th in overall points out of 54 competitors in the Pure Stock division. In 2008 I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, I was there 3 months after being discharged for issues with my eyes. Soon after being discharged I started working full time, and after dumping too much money into a show car I decided it wasn't worth it and I wanted to get back into racing, so I traded a 1990 Honda Crx for my 2004 Yamaha Yz125 and started riding. The first time I rode it was at Chicago Indoor Mx 1/29/10, which was also my first time on a track. The next time I rode on anything other than a field wasn't until Fourth of July at FMX Paradise in Medaryville, IN, I then started different local tracks every week. In early September while riding at Mustang Sally's MX in South Bend, IN I went off the finish line jump wrong and landed hip first, slightly fracturing my hip, but this didn't stop me, four days later I rode Redbud for the first time, then two weeks later raced for the first time at none other than the infamous Redbud, finishing 9th out of 10 overall. The rest of the year I stayed local until my top end blew in mid October. I then ended up trading the bike for a 1975 MG Midget, and then sold the car. I was planning on getting my friends built Kx250f once this season started out, but my buddy at B&E Honda let my know about a 2010 CRF250F they had in and they gave me a deal on it that I couldn't pass up, so that's what I'm currently on now.
Riding Goals
This year I would like to become a front runner in C Class and get the ride time and experience to set myself of to qualify for Loretta Lynn's. Eventually I would like to move out of C Class but I'm more concerned on having fun and staying injury free, and especially because of my age, and the fact that I'm just starting out I know I'm not going to be able to make a career out of it. One goal however is to be able to ride clean and learn all I can, promote this amazing sport as much as possible, and promote the companies that help support this sport and make it poissble, also use what I learn to teach others, especially kids on how to ride, and really get them started and into this sport. Another goal is to get a big W (Win) this year at the track I have admired since I was 7yrs old, Redbud. My biggest goal of the year is to save up enough money to get my nephew, who is 3yrs old, a bike and get him racing. He currently rides a Skidoo Mini Z snowmobile, and the kid tears it up!, I can't wait to see him on 2 wheels. I also plan on racing every amature event held at RedBud Mx, a few events at Joliet Mx, a few events in AMA District 15, and a few Loretta qualifiers.
