Personal History

My name is Chris Rusak I am 16 years old. Growing up in Naperville, IL I had never been around the scene of motorsports but instead spoiled teenagers. From since I had born I had a desire for racing whether it had been or Motocross or Road Racing with a car, anything with a motor I had loved. Further into my childhood I had finally convinced my parents to let me to get my first bike, being a kid I made the wrong decision of getting a 4 stroke trail bike instead of a 2 stroke, I was told it was too "loud" supposedly. Once I got my first bike I loved it and could not stop riding it, even though I had lived in the suburbs and there had really been little place to ride. Before I moved on to riding more and more I started to get attached to my brothers main hobby, which was road racing. He had been racing cars with the SCCA for a good amount of time and I had really loved it, especially helping mechanically because my plan for college is to go into some sort of automotive mechanical major. About a year later my father had been diagnosed with a dangerous form of Skin Cancer known as Melanoma. He had been battling it for about a year when unfortunately the cancer had completely destroyed his body, passing away that year in front of my own eyes. Being greatly affected by this I really didn't know what to do with my life. So I decided to go back to what I love most which is Dirtbikes. After my fathers death my mom had decided what was best, would be for me to get a new bike. So that's what I currently have now. Motocross in the end is what has really helped me throughout my life and it will always be there to guide me.

Riding Goals

For my riding goals, I really want 2016 to be an amazing year for me. I want to not only start my racing endevors but also take this year in a way were I progress crazy as a rider and really change as a person. My dream is to ride and race but also maintain a healthy relationship with those around me and especially school, because I know thats what my dad would want me to do.

Competitive Highlights

Currently I have no motocross accomplishments, but besides that I choose to be a very athletic person playing all different sports such as Basketball, Golf, Soccer, Tennis, but most importantly football. Since childhood I had played football having played on a undefeated team two years in a row, and also playing in Highschool were I hope to a really great player. I'm also very into exercise but mostly strictly weight lifting. I had been weight lifting for around 2-3 years now and I think its a great way besides riding to relieve any stress. I've also competed in the 8 mile Chicago Spartan Race which was one hell of hard race but amazing experience...
