Personal History
I grew up in northern Alabama in the cattle business until I was 9 years old and my family sold everything to move to Thomasville, GA. Spending most of my life in south Georgia is what drew me to motocross. We never had enough money for my parents to afford me a dirt bike. So when I was 15 I found my first bike that was given to me for free. It was beat up, seized up and looked rough. I spend what money had to rebuild this bike myself. I have been hooked ever since.
Come 2010 I was deployed, gone for most of 2011, the deployment lasted 11 months long. At the end of the deployment I purchased the bike that I still own and ride to this day. Growing up in life and never having much money I have gained to skills of being able to do any and all maintenance work. Currently I am everyone's personal mechanic and do everything from full motor rebuilds, port/polish, suspensions and bike setups.
Riding is my way of relaxing, forgetting about the everyday life. I enjoy the mental push of the sport more than anything. The adrenaline rush is that of something you just cant get. This sport has me and I don't think I could ever walk away from it!
Riding Goals
Still being in the military full time makes it impossible for me to ever race a full season. My goal this summer is to race as many races I possibly can on my CRF450. I am standing in for a friend of mine who has broken his foot so I will be racing at Calhoun MX to carry his points for him on his bike. My girlfriend rides as well and we are planning on making a week long stay at Matt Walkers camp soon.
Competitive Highlights
Accidentally left the gate with 450 "A" class once and was 2nd to the first corner when I realized I was suppose to wait. To this day all my friends say that was my pro debut haha.
