My name is Dakota Hibler and I am a 8 year old girl who started riding in the glamis sand dunes when I was only three, and have been riding since. 2014 marked my first year of racing with AZOP (Arizona off- road promotions). 2014 saw me take second overall for the season points championship and 2015 I was able to take third overall for the season in the peewee ATV 80cc division. I am the youngest of three kids as I have an older brother and sister. My mom and dad taught me to ride and work extra hard so they can pay for me to race across the state of Arizona. I am in 3rd grade at Haley Elementary school in Chandler, Az.
Besides riding for fun and racing, I am involved in my schools running club, Girl Scouts and also take gymnastics classes outside of school. When I am not riding I am playing with my friends, going places with my family, and just being a kid.
I was born in Orange, Ca on a beautiful Friday afternoon, and then my family moved to Arizona a few months later. My older brother just had his first child making me an aunt, and my older sister just graduated college in Northern Arizona.
My personal riding goals are to continue to ride smoother, faster, and always get better with my shifting during races. I currently ride a Honda TRX90 which my dad put pink plastics on it so I stand out. 2016 will mark my first season racing two divisions on my quad and also a division on my new dirt bike.
Other riding goals are to win my class championship and continue to find other race circuits to participate in. I want to always be competitive in every race and hopefully win the overall, and then move up to the next level of racing.
2015 marked the first year I was able to start every race and finish every race I entered. I was the only racer in my division to race all series points races as well as all series non points races. This was a huge accomplishment for me and my parents as we were on the road a lot and saw lots of new places and made new friends and memories along the way.
