Personal History
My name is Dakota Procter. I am 15 years old and I race the 85 12-15 and the 125 2 stroke classes. I am in the 10th grade at Cole R-V Eugene High School where I am active in National Honor Society, FBLA and FFA. My cumulative GPA is 3.77 on a 4.0 scale. I was on the A honor roll all of last year and currently this year.
I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family at the track. We ride our pitbikes around and just talk about racing.

Riding Goals
The 2010 season will be my first year on only big bikes. I will be racing the 125 2 stroke class as well as the schoolboy class. I will continue my old training schedule of practicing three to four times a week at our practice track and riding my bicycle and running to build my endurance. I have attended Shanon Niday's MX School in the past and starting working last year with a former pro motocrosser that has helped me tremendously.
My goals for 2010:
* Complete the Mo State MX Series in the 125 2 stroke and Schoolboy classes and finish in the top 5
* Qualify for the Ponca City National
* Make the main event at Branson USA National Motocross Championship
Competitive Highlights
I started racing when I was 8 years old. We have always raced in the Missouri State MX Series which is a very competitive series that has produced alot of nationally ranked riders. This year will be my last year in the 85 class as I will move to the big bikes full time next year. I have been very successful this year in the 85 12-15 class where I should finish in the top 3. This year was also my first year racing my YZ125 in the 125 2 stroke class. This is a very competitive class and I am currently in 4th place in the series. Last year was my first trip to Ponca City but a wreck in the 85 12-13 class resulted in a broken femur which put me out for 3 months. I was able to come back for the final round of the Mo State Series where I finished with a 6th place overall. During the winter months I am busy training for the next season and we make trips down to Texas to ride and train when it's too cold in Missouri to ride.
