Personal History

My name is Dalton Russell Morr and I am 8 yrs old. I began riding one year ago in 2019. My parents got me a KTM 50 that I raced last year in 2019 at my home track in Boise Idaho. My parents surprised me with my Husqvarna 65 for Christmas and I was going to practice on it for the 2020 season, but then my 50 got stolen! So I had to learn to race my 65 this year, which is ok because now that I race my 65, I feel like my 50 was so slow!! Riding a 65 is hard, but I really like it. My family loves watching me ride and I have support at every race I attend. I love that my Mom and Dad go to every race and take me to other tracks. I just found out that I have asthma, so riding can be hard on my lungs sometimes, but I will always find a way to make it through so I can keep doing what I really love!!

I live in Nampa, Idaho, and I have one little brother named Dayton. He is 4 years old and just started riding this year on a 50 PW, and I am helping him learn. I am going into 3rd grade at East Canyon Elementary in Caldwell, Idaho. My favorite subjects in school are Math and Science! I live in the country and I love being outside with my animals. I also like to ride my dirtbike and 4-wheelers in our pasture! I love camping, fishing, and swimming. I don't like winter! When I get a little older I am going to learn how to hunt. I want to be on the SWAT Team when I get older, or maybe be a cruise ship captain!

Riding Goals

I love riding my dirt bike because I can't count on anyone but myself when I'm riding.  I like racing for the same reason, I have no team mates to count on; it's just me and my dirt bike.  Since getting into motocross, I feel like I have found my true passion.  Motocross has helped me come out of my shell and it always pushes me out of my comfort zone.  I hope to continue to ride and race for years to come.

While I love to race and I am enjoying being able to travel this year, I know that to continue to do that I will need to help my parents out by riding hard and getting sponsorships to help with the cost of bike repairs, gear, and traveling. We are going to have to rebuild my bike because it is tired with 170 hours on it!  We are hoping to rebuild my bike so I can have one for practice and get a new one for next year's race season!

My CURRENT riding goals are:

1. To get better at rutted corners and taking the inside more.

2. Work really hard at not giving up when I'm having a bad moto. Its hard because I want to always do good, but I have to remember that even though pros have bad motos!

3. GAIN MORE CONFIDENCE IN MY ABILITIES

4. Make more time to train with my coach and train harder

5. My final goal for this race season is to place in the top 4 overall for the RMX North Round and top 4 for the RMX Triple Crown Series!

Riding goals for NEXT year:

1. Get a new bike for race season

2. Begin riding in TWO 65 classes; the 65 age group and 65 Open class

3. Place in the top 20 in the open class each race

4. Continue to push myself to improve

Braaaappppp!!!!

Competitive Highlights

Last year at 7 years old, I made my riding/racing debut on a KTM 50. I earned 1st place overall at OMC in Boise in the 50 6-9 class. I also earned 1st place for the Triple Crown at OMC!

I am currently sitting in 5th place overall in the RMX North Series for 65 beginner class! I am really proud of myself for making my RMX debut this year on my 65 and being able to keep up with the pack on some really gnarly tracks! Stay tuned for more highlights!

This is only my 2nd year racing, and my first year racing 65, so I don't have too many competitive highlights yet, but my goal is to keep adding to my highlights throughout this season as well as my future seasons!
