Rider Updates

I finally got my final results for the RMX Summer Series for the North Round and I placed 4th overall out of 48 other riders! In the Triple Crown I placed 5th overall out of 32 riders! This was my first season to race the RMX Series and I am very happy with my progression over the summer riding against some really good riders! I just got a new 2021 KTM 65 and I am currently practicing on it, learning the standard clutch (my current 2017 bike has a Rekluse in it). It's beena challenge, but I am picking it up!
We also got notice from the RMX that I am being moved up to Age Group for racing next year, since I did so well this season as a beginner. Awesome!! Thank you to my current sponsors, Oneal Racing, Twin Air, DeCal Works, Boise Concrete Sawing, and Gibson Diesel!!!

Well, I had my RMX race this weekend in Ogden Utah and overall I did really good! I had the most exciting hole shot in my first moto! I was holding steady in 3rd place catching up to the 2nd place rider about lap 2.5 before my tire caught and I wrecked! But I ended up finishing 4th overall for my race. I moved up from 6th to 5th overall in the RMX Triple Crown and I'm now 4th overall in the RMX North Round round Summer series! My last RMX race is in a couple of weeks and I'm going back to Rupert, Idaho. I'm going to try really hard to place in top 3 in Rupert!

Well, my race didn't go as planned this weekend. I placed 5th in the beginner class (which is not where I normally place) and 7th in the 65 Open. It was a rough day on the track and I just didn't perform well. BUT, I did make it through all 4 motos for my first time ever and that included racing in the 65 open class for my first time! I am practicing with a new coach who is working hard with me. My goal for my next race at OMC is to place in the top 3 for beginner and top top 4 for the Open class. My mom said even the best motocross races have bad race days, so I'm trying to keep my chin up!

I want to thank ONEAL, TWIN AIR, DECAL WORKS, OGIO, and RYNO POWER for sponsoring me! I am going to work hard the rest of this season to prove that I am worth sponsoring again next year. My mom just ordered me some sick ONEAL gloves to go with my gear! She is also currently designing my bike graphics and we will get to order them next week...my bike is going to be the sickest on the track! Stay tuned for some pictures of my new graphics with all of my sponsors on the bike!
Tomorrow I have a race at my home track at OMC in Boise. I am officially going into the 65cc Open Class for my first time and am going to race this class for the rest of the season at OMC so I can get more practice against the older and faster kids.
I will continue to race the 65 beginner for the RMX Series this season, and then next year I will race 65 Age Group and 65 Open.
