Personal History
I am a business professional, married to a wonderful wife and father of twin sons. My son Kyle and I race harescrambles. My other son focuses on MX. We mostly race for fun and the challenge of competition. I personally find the time together at the races and the time prepping for races provides great benefit raising 2 teenage sons. This sport also gets me away from the stresses of work. We do all our own bike maintenance, within the limits of equipment in my garage. With the perils of motorcycle racing, you need a product that is safe and reliable, so when I find a product or brand I like that works for us, I stick with it. My plan for 2014/2015 is to race the MSXC 2014/2015 Winter series (except the 2 Alabama races...too far away) and try some races over the summer in 2015 if the temperatures are not extreme, maybe even an MX race or two.
Riding Goals
Finish top five in points in the 2014/2015 Mid South Cross Country Series Super Senior class, plus keep it fun.
Competitive Highlights
Finished 4th overall in Senior C Class in the 2011/2012 Mid South Cross Country Winter Series. This was accomplished on a 94 YZ250 without all the nice gizmos folks run on their bikes, so I am proud of that.
