Personal History
I am 17 years old, a Senior at Albemarle High School and live in Earlysville Virginia. My parents were both career military members who retired after a combined 44 years of military service. After my parents retired we moved back to Virginia so they could care for my grandparents. I have one brother and four sisters and we are all adopted. I was adopted in 1999 and my youngest sister was adopted in 2005. In 2007 we built a house on the family farm. My parents decided to become foster parents and the first two foster children were a part of a larger family that had been split up when the were placed in foster care. When it was decided that they would not be returning to their mom my parents decide to adopt all four of them so they could grow up together. At a very early age I wanted to race ATV's and in 2011 my Dad finally bought me a Honda TRX250EX. That year I raced the ATV Sand Drags at the local fair and came in 3rd Place. The following year at the same fair my brother and I raced in the ATV MX event and I won. From that point on I was hooked and within a year my brother and three of my sister were racing too. My youngest sister no longer races but my brother Larry, sister Kayla and I all race on the National ATV circuit.
Riding Goals
For the remainder of 2016 I will compete in the remaing five AMA District 13 raced where I am currently leading the Open C ATV class in points. My goals for 2017 are to race the National ATV MX Championship Series, the Eagle River ATV World Championships and AMA District 13 ATV MX Series. I will be competing in the 450 B/C Limited Class and all of the B Classes offered. I have already begun working out and training for 2017. My goals are to win a National Championship, a World Championship, and a District Championship while finishing in the top 5 of all of my classes. For 2018 I plan on moving up to A Class. Since I will have graduated from High School I will be able to step up my training program in 2018 and I hope to be able to go to Florida to train with the pro riders over the winter.
