Personal History
My name is Devon O’Leary. I am 16 years old and I live in Berlin, CT. I am currently in 11th grade and my favorite sport is motocross. I have been riding and racing MX since I was 6 years old. Growing up, my parents have always had me play and try other sports in addition to MX. I participate in and still play lacrosse and mountain bike racing. I also have a hobby of working on cars and trucks, physical training and mountain bike racing.
Riding Goals
This season I had returned from a refracture in my right Tibia at Mini O’s. I had began to prepare for the Loretta Lynn’s National Championship. I had qualified for the regional in the 250 C jr class and the 125C class. But did not end up qualifying, due to a crash in the start and being taken out in a corner. After the regional I moved up to the B class. I had raced in the 125 all star race at the Southwick pro national and placed 12th in the race. I have placed multiple times over this years season in the B class in the top three in the local racing series. Most recently i have placed 8th overall at the Racer X Maine Event, in the 125 two stroke open class, 250 B, and Schoolboy 12-17. I am preparing to return to Mini O’s over Thanksgiving and racing in 250 B, Schoolboy 2, and 250 B limited. Over the winter I will be training in Florida to stay fresh on the bike. The plan for 2020 is to try for Loretta Lynn’s in the B class.
I plan to attend several Loretta Lynn Qualifiers across the entire east coast and train in Florida during the months of January-March. I currently work with a trainer on a regular basis making me a faster and smoother rider by training 2 times a week with him. With this rigorous schedule I also make school a priority and a high honor student at my public high school.

Over the past couple of years, I have come to realize that MX is my favorite sport. I would like to focus on my riding and racing and make the jump to compete nationally. My parents support my racing, but remind me that school comes first, and that I need to help them by finding sponsors.
I would like to ask if your company would be interested in helping me achieve my short and long-term goals by sponsoring my racing program. I am a great student, polite and hardworking and will represent your brand name well. As a sponsor, I will display your logo on my bikes, trailer, and social media accounts. As I explained earlier in this note, I have tried and played many sports, but MX is truly the sport I want to pursue and hope to make a career out of. With your sponsorship, your help will help my family and I reach my goals while advertising and strengthening your brand name positively.
Thank you,
Devon O’Leary
