Personal History
I am 18 and currently attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ. I grew up in Washington so I have connections in both regions. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA and numerous academic awards, honors classes, and leadership positions. I started riding when I was 12, and I lost my mother to suicide when I was 13. The sport helped me cope with the misfortune and bond with my father. I have an Instagram page (@hunterlangemo99) with 1600 followers and counting. I affiliate with the Prescott Trail Riders Club. I seek sponsorship because it enables me to race while paying for college, and my outreach can legitimately benefit companies.
Riding Goals
Currently, I race A class in local and regional races and B class in national level races, such as WORCS. I aim to score a podium placement in a local or regional series and score podium finishes in national WORCS races. In the next couple years, I would like to move up to AA class for local/regional races and A class for WORCS races. I would also like to qualify and compete in Geico Endurocross next year. Soon, I would like to purchase a trials bike and start competing in trials events to help my balance and diversify my competitions.
Competitive Highlights
At my first race series, Mudslingers MX 2015, I battled in the Schoolboy(12-15) class and finished 2nd overall in the championship, 0 points from the leader. I also finished 6th overall in the 250A class. I championed the 2015-2016 Westcoast GP Series, in the the 15 Under championship. Following, I championed the 15 Under championship in the Westcoast Hare Scramble Series. At the Straddleline WORCS Rd7, I fished second in the 250C class. At the Westcoast 500 team race, my team finished 1st in the Open B class. In 2016, I won the Mudslingers Schoolboy championship and won the 125cc two-stroke championship. In the 2016 WA State MX championship I placed several 1st places and podiums in Schoolboy and 250C. From 2017-2018 I had numerous podium finishes in the Open B class in both NORCS (Northwest Off-road Championship Series) and NMA (Northwest Motorcyclist Association). I also grabbed more than 50% of the holeshots on the 40+ rider lineup. In 2019, I finished first in a Summer Sprint Series A class race and pulled the holeshot at both NORCS Open A races I attended.
