Rider Updates

Hello everyone! Two weekends ago I was racing the Norwegian Outdoors Cup, in the 450 class. Everything was set for a dusty weekend at Jevnaker in Norway, and the deep-sand track was very fun to ride, with few jumps and many technical corners. Qualifying heat didn't go to well, as I ended up at about 24th place. However in the first heat race I had an ok start, battling my way through the start crash, and was sitting in about 16th when I fell over in a turn. Got myself back up to 23rd after a stop in the pit area, when I collided with another rider and hit my thigh and hip hard against two sharp rocks, following two bikes landing on top of me and another rider. Due to the pain and non-movable leg I had to pull off. I decided to apply some tiger balsam and line up for the second heat, but there wasn't any good way to race with a beat-up body and not being able to fully use my right leg, so I had to pull off again. Incredibly disappointed with how everything went, but I was happy to see that I could carry some momentum without having been on the bike that much because of my job as a Medic in the army. Lately I've been training, and looking to perform better next race!
