Personal History
My name is Jake Tesmer and I have a serious passion for Motocross, I love to race! I am 16 years old and currently live in Harlingen Texas. I am a very experienced rider and strive towards gaining more experience. I train physically and stay in great shape year-round. I believe I have what it takes to make it BIG in this sport and compete on a national level . I am a member of AMA and either attend a race or practice hard every weekend. When I am not racing or training, I enjoy being outside and staying active, such as: riding BMX, skateboarding, running, and road biking.
Riding Goals
My goals for this year are to make it to more AMA sanctioned events, become a stronger, faster, safer and a more technical rider. For the year of 2011, my goals are to travel to bigger races and eventually qualify for the AMA Nationals at Loretta Lynne's.
Competitive Highlights
I started out racing in the 85 class in Montana and won the Westmont State Championship three years straight in the 85C, 85B and 85A classes. After I moved to Texas , I rode in the 125 class for a year then moved up to the 250/450 class. I've raced in the 450A class for two years and ride in all cash class races held at each event. I ride a Yamaha 2-stroke YZ250 ,competing against 4-stroke 450's and take a podium finish at every race. My latest racing accomplishment was taking 1st place in "The Ironman 3 Hour Hare Scramble" , held in Sept. of this year at Red Roost Motocross Park in South Texas. Race Results shown are only the amatuer podium finishes since moving to Texas.
