I go by Jim, or my friends call me Redcorn. I've been riding for the better part of my whole life, but only started racing a few years ago. Some friends of mine that I ride with talked me into my first race in 2014 and I was hooked immediately. I raced a couple times at local hare scrambles until I got a more competitive bike. I raced my first season in 2016, in the District 14 Hare Scrambles series in Michigan. In 2017, my girlfriend at the time, Cassie and I bought our home. That put the stopper on racing that summer. This last spring I came back for another season and had a blast, also managed to propose to Cassie, she said yes! I've decided to try a different series, in Indiana, for 2019 and I'm confident I will enjoy it more than ever. My wife to be and I are always looking forward to the next race, next challenge and next adventure.
I have improved leaps and bounds in every aspect of the sport in the past and I anticipate to keep that trend going. I plan to continue learning and bettering in every way possible, from riding technique and physical fitness to mechanical ability and complete in house service work. I'd like to achieve a higher level of aptitude while maintaining my humbled attitude towards professionalism and sportsmanship.
