Personal History
I was introduced to racing in 1992 by future step-father. I received my first bike and started racing in 1994 in the Women's class for TCCRA (Texas Cross County Racing Association). I was moved into the newly created Ladies Intermediate class in at the end of the 1996 season. I did not race again for a few years. Although I live in Oklahoma, I returned to TCCRA to race starting in 2000. I finished 3rd overall for Ladies Intermediate in 2003. I began racing in Oklahoma in the OCCRA series in 2006. I finished 2nd overall in the Women's class. I raced one race in 2007 before finding out I was pregnant. I practiced on Saturdays until I could no longer fit in my riding pants. I raced a few races in 2008, but felt more content just being a parent. 2020 was the start of my son's racing debut. I have an XR 200 that I purchased some years back and was eligible to race the Mini 85 Women's class. My son and I have been able to practice and race at the same time. I raced several different bikes over the years from older XR's to newer four-strokes.
2022- I purchased a 2017 KTM 250 XCF two weeks before the season started. I am racing two classes this year - SBR Women's Open and Long Course Women's.
Riding Goals
I'd like to replicate another winning year. I want to build my endurance level up as 2021 maybe my last year on the XR200 and the shorter course.
2022 - My real goal is got get better on the new bike this year. It's been over 10 years since I've been on a bike like this.
