Personal History
I am a 22 year old college graduate from Windsor, Ontario. I have been riding Motocross for 9 years now and would simply not be able to give up the sport. My brother and I have been racing as a team for the past year and a half.
This year I was fortunate enough to marry my girlfriend of 6 years, and we even had "Kiwi" (my bikes name) included in part of the day (see profile picture)
Currently I work as a Design Engineer at a tool shop, I am striving toward my goal of supporting myself through racing one day.
Riding Goals
Goals include attending local races and practices at least one per week, and hitting as many large races (Red Bud, Baja Brawl etc.) as possible as well. From these larger races I intend to hone my racing from the "pro" type atmosphere. I will also continue to train aggressively to fully explore my racing potential.
Competitive Highlights
I was racing Intermediate at Delta in Ohio, and as the gate of 15 dropped I pulled the holeshot. There was another competitor there that was racing in this class and was faster than any of the experts as well (Intermediate/expert raced together). I was able to keep the lead for the entire first lap, unfortunately the competitor cheaply took out my front wheel and took me down. This was a highlight for me because it showed that I have the capability to maintain focus under pressure.
