Personal History
I started racing motocross in new England in 1990 at the age of 14. I raced the NESC circuit and quickly moving thru the ranks. In 1992 I made it to the expert class and was out there racing with guys like John dowd, Mike Treadwell, Doug Henry, Keith Johnson and many other well known new England guys. I had also won a few championships along the way. In 1994 I got my pro licence for ama motocross and raced 4 national events a year along with the nesc events.
In 1997 I had an opportunity to add snocross to my program during the winter months. Things went very well there and I became one of the winningest snocross rider in the northeast. Also competing in a few national races per year and 5 year athlete in the winter x games. I really love all kinds of racing!
Riding Goals
Racing throughout the years I have become a family man and a dad. My wife and 1.5 yr old daughter attend all of my races and are very supportive and into racing as well. I grew up around racing with my family and now I have been able to continue racing and I'm really loving this.
In 2016 I am planning on racing a few different types of moto. I will be racing the entire JDAY offroad series for points. This is a newer series in new England which has been very popular! It mixes offroad and motocross and uses a 2 30 minute moto format. Having around a 5 min lap time and nearly 800 entries per week this is a lot of fun. The events are awesome.
Along with the jday series I will also be racing some motocross as well as qualifying for the Loretta Lynn's in the vet a class. I will possibly be competing in the pro ama national in Southwick this year now that it has returned to my home track.
Competitive Highlights
1997-2011, 2014 snocross racing rock maple and ecs. 18 time points champion. 12 being in the pro classes.
5 years competing in the winter xgames snocross and hillcross. Best finish of 6th overall in main event hillcross 2003.
1st place finish Amsoil pro snocross national pro vet class 2014 salamanca, ny
1990-today racing motocross. Winning 1993 125cc youth expert championship nesc, 1996 open expert champion nesc, 2006 450 a champ nemx, and also 30+ expert champ nemx. Today I am a top 3 pro vet competitor in motocross and offroad.
Throughout the years I qualified 14 times for the main events in the pro ama motocross nationals. My best being a 21,24 moto finishes in the 250 class.
2015 Jdayoffroad pro vet class 4th overall and many top 3 finishes.
