Personal History
I am contacting you today about a national and international advertising opportunity at the upcoming 2013 Red Bull Crashed Ice World Championships this March in Quebec City, Canada and Lausanne, Switzerland. Red Bull Crashed Ice is a worldwide Ice Cross Downhill event that has 5 tour stops in Canada (2), USA, Netherlands, and Switzerland. The event is broadcast nation-wide on SportsNet, as well as internationally, which is in addition to the 100,000+ spectators attending each event live as well as creating millions of impressions worldwide.
The advertising opportunity will allow me to perform to my potential and in turn provide you with the most exposure. I will represent you wearing gear with your logo during the two remaining four-day events, which includes: races televised on SportsNet, NBC, and Red Bull TV and promotional ads, and general exposure as a Red Bull athlete throughout the event. I will also promote your product within the athlete community allowing other athletes to try out the product on the track to utilize its potential benefits. Your logo can be displayed on both the neckguard and gloves as these are the most prominent advertising spots in the sport.
This season I have performed to my ability consistently, but know I have room for improvement as I continue to gain experience. In my third season competing in Ice Cross Downhill I am a new competitor and have gained a lot of recognition within the sport. I am currently ranked 8th in the world ranking after two races. In Niagara Falls, Canada, I finished 13th, and most recently placed 5th overall after finishing 4th in qualifying.
