Rider Updates

Milton was for sure an interesting night of racing. I felt I stepped to another level and pushed my self harder than I ever have. I had a few problems but I managed to race back and finish in top 10 in a packed class. I got caught up at the gate for the first time ever, then had my bike wash right out from under me in a sandy turn. I guess I could be mad about that but the fact that I pushed and rode harder than I ever have makes me still feel proud of myself. Heck, it happens to the best of them. I guess when you push it harder the risks increase. So far, I have gotten noticeably better every race. Feels good to have people see it, come up, and comment you on it. Lets you know the hard work is paying off even more each week. As for now, I am going to practice and step it up again next weekend.

Milton Motocross was the first race of the season. I raced the 125c&d class on my 2003 yz125.  I did pretty good I think for first race. I got a decent start and was riding good when my wheel came out of a rut and I went down , but got back up and held out for 5th place finish. Over all I’m proud of myself for getting back up and finishing in top5. I know I have room for improvement and I am excited about getting to race again and step it up.
