Personal History
I have had a love for anything moto related most of my life. I got my first dirt bike when I was six years old, a KTM 50, I loved that bike and I loved riding it. Over the years, I upgraded to bigger bikes and four-wheelers that I would ride recreationally but never had the opportunity to race. This past 2022 season was my first time to race motocross. On March 5, 2022 on my 2016 RMZ250, I raced my first race in the 250 Beginner and Beginner Open classes in the Big Side of Texas Series. In that race, I finished with an overall of 15th place. I now have a 2022 KX250F and on July 23, 2022, I raced my final race for the Big Side series with an overall 1st place finish. I placed 6th overall for the series. I just finished racing, on October 9, 2022, the District 42 State Qualifiers for the Texas State Race. There were four races in the regionals and I finished 3rd overall for the final race in the Beginner Open class and 4th place overall for the regionals and received my ticket to state. Motocross has become an addiction for me, I live and breath riding, racing, and everything that goes along with it. I can't wait to get out on that track every weekend.
Riding Goals
My goals for the upcoming 2023 season are to train with my trainer and go try out different tracks during the offseason to gain more experience. I want to get better and faster. In 2023, I plan to race in the Big Side of Texas Series with top finishes in my classes and gain another ticket to state. I also plan to race some Loretta qualifiers if my progress and placement in the series warrants it.
