I got an incredible 3.1 mile jog in today and I'm going to ride (as well as workout) the rest of the week! The plan is to race at Bar2Bar this weekend, we'll see what happens. I'm going to keep riding and training. I can't wait to get the results I'm working hard for!

I can't wait to be back at it tomorrow! Our corner track should be prime. The plan is to use more throttle than brake! :)

I'm having an awesome time preparing for my next race! Although there's at least 4 inches of snow on the ground, I'm not letting that stop me. Yesterday I started my 4-week Strength Training program with a 30 minute workout, and I continued my program today with a 3 mile run on the snow packed trails at my house. I will move on to a 45 minute workout on Wednesday, another 3 mile run (hopefully without the snow) on Thursday, and I'll finish off the week with a refreshing session of yoga. After this 4-week program runs its course, I'm going to start on my next 4-week plan. Hopefully by the end of the week, when the weather's nicer, I'll be able to ride my corner track and get prepared on the track as well as off.

I'm ready for the snow to go away a little bit so I can practice on my corner track everyday until the race at Bar2Bar! I've only got a few weeks to improve/work hard for the win. Right now I'm going to keep working out and staying healthy and the riding will come when the weather lets it! I'm really excited for this year of racing!! My GoPro footage from Sunday tells me that I've got more than a few things to work on and I'm okay with that. Moving forward from here I know that I have potential to improve in a short amount of time so I'll continue to do so. I love my sport :) It's always challenging me! Here's a shot from my footage:
