I started riding just a little Kawasaki 50PW that I had gotten from my 5th birthday I rode that until I outgrew and then plus then some. That's when my parents got me my KTM junior for my birthday and 2020 and we started exploring the racing environment. By July...
Mackenzie’s mom here giving a little update from the last race this weekend since she is still sound asleep. She was on fire this weekend.........update, she woke up as I was doing the original post and totally forgot to come back in and edit. She was killing it her last race on 8/8/21. The joke was her Dad made her mad....she rides harder when mad.....he didnt like her gate pick, it was horrible, she being her stubborn self stayed with it, he told her, "well then you better "send it". And boy did she, she was jumping further then we have ever seen, and flying past everyone. She was holding the lead by i would say at least 5 sec in front of 2nd place. RIght before the finish line she crash. She went down hard, but jumped right up still finishing 2nd out of 14. she was a little sore, we iced it while the next class was on the track, she then completed her second class for the morning with out a problem getting 3rd place out of 13. For her second motos of the day, walked away (well gimped away at this point) with a 1st place win and 3rd. Making her overall positions for the day 1st and 3rd. Super impressed with her. Well come monday morning when she woke up, and i stopped the original update, her knee was pretty swollen, it appeared to have fluid built up. We went to get her checked out and the xray showed "something suspicion" the urgent care Dr thought a fracture on her knee cap, while the radiology dept that it was sent to said it was undecisive. So orders where minimal to no weight baring until follow up with orthopedic. We were all in shock that the way she continued riding that day after sustaining this type of injury. Follow up with orthopedic showed the front her growth plate luckily was unharmed and showed no real damage, however on the side view image, you can see there is a sliver or a chip out of her knee cap. No other damage though. Luckil
