Personal History

My name is Max Harte I live in Camas, WA and I have been riding for 6 years and I have been racing for 4 years. I race the Junior Expert class in the OMRA XC point series. I like to race long events and challenging events. I have raced the Ironman class in a 6 hour race and a 12 hour race. I have also raced a 100 mile desert race in Bend, OR. I am number 23JX in the GP series and 1JX in the XC series.

My Parents are very supportive of my racing and know a lot about the sport.  My Dad competed in and finished 4 International 6 Day Enduros on the US Enduro team in the mid 90's.  He is passing his experience on to me a little at a time.

Riding Goals

Some of my long term goals are to go to the International 6 day enduro, ironman a OTBG 24 hour race, and ironman the Baja 250, 500, 1000. Some of my goals are really close to impossible but in the 12 hour race earlier this year I logged  200 miles on a beat up 9.5 mile course.

Competitive Highlights

2012 was a great year.  I learned a lot, gained confidence at every every event and ended up with the #1 plate for the JR Expert class in OMRA XC series.  RIding Ironman at both a 6 and 12 hour endurance event was also a big challenge and I'm real happy with how I competed and finished these events.  I am really looking forward to 2013.
