Personal History
Married to a beautiful and smart woman. We have 2 children, a young boy and little girl. They make my life tolerable. But if you ask my wife she will tell you that I live, breath and die motorcycles. I own something around 6 or 7 bikes, ranging from a Buell White Lightning to an ATK/Cannondale and Husky supermoto. I studied and received a Bachelor's of Science degree from the University of Utah. As well, I am a member of the Army National Guard and a branch qualified Engineering officer.
Previously I've roadraced, tried my hand at supermoto, mini-moto but most recently found my niche in off-road/desert racing. My inner competitive nature has allowed me to garner several podium finishes in my first couple of attempts. And I'm hoping that with the support of future sponsors I'll be able to improve even further.
I consider myself to be a consumate professional. My background working for a world leading race facility in Miller Motorsports Park in promotions and sponsorship has given me the insight necessary to promote my sponsors at the highest level possible! Though a privateer, my bikes and equipment are kept looking as new and representative of what a sponsored rider should be; I'm looking for sponsors who are committed to a racer and want to have themselves associated with a high caliber racer and individual. I welcome any inquiries for sponsorship.
Riding Goals
Racing in the B.O.R. (Bonneville Off-road Racing association) again next year, I plan to contest the entire series while moving up to the "A" expert class.
My goal is to acquire and help promote several new sponsors to help me succeed next year. I'd like to race all B.O.R. race events and have a personal goal to podium on all of them.
I will also contest several supermoto races with Miller Motorsports Park as the schedule allows.
Competitive Highlights
Leading my first ever desert race while racing in Bonneville Off-road Racing association until running out of gas but still managing to finish 2nd in class while pushing my bike the final 1/4 mile across the finish line. Was 3rd motorcycle overall for the event despite this.
In my second race I managed to not run out of gas but couldn't escape bad luck and had to race the last 12 miles on a front flat tire. Again, finished 2nd place in Class but 3rd motorcycle overall of the event.
I've also raced supermoto in the Utah Supermoto Championship at Miller Motorsports Park where I've led races and finished with a best result of 3rd place.
**UPDATES***
Racing a 200 mile desert grand prix event titled, The Ely Grand Prix (Ely, NV) I finally garnered a 1st place class finish. Thanks to my sponsors: MB1 Suspension and Works Connection for giving me the suspension updates and bike protection to see me through to the end.
